Zanshin respects creators' rights. This page explains how the Inspiration tab and the daily quotes work, and how rights holders can ask us to remove something.
How the Inspiration tab works
- We never copy, download, re-upload, cut or host anyone's videos or audio. Every item is a link (title, show or channel name, date and the publisher's own artwork) that opens on the creator's own page or app.
- Podcast episodes come from the public RSS feeds that podcasters publish for podcast apps, found through Apple's public podcast directory. Playback happens on the publisher's site or app, with their ads and analytics intact.
- For YouTube, Zanshin only offers search links that you open yourself on youtube.com. We do not scrape YouTube, download from it, strip its branding or show its videos inside our app. YouTube content stays subject to YouTube's own Terms of Service.
- Every item shows who made it. Creator names and artwork are shown only to identify and link to their work.
- Linked content is the creator's opinion, not ours, and is not financial advice (see the Disclaimer). We don't endorse, and aren't endorsed by, any creator unless we say so.
Quotes
The daily quotes are short attributed lines from published sources, shown for commentary and inspiration. If you hold rights in a quote and want it removed, use the process below.
Your content
Screenshots and notes you upload stay yours. Only upload charts and content you have the right to use (for example, your own platform screenshots). See the Terms and Acceptable Use Policy.
Reporting infringement (notice and takedown)
If you believe something on Zanshin infringes your copyright, email zanshinfounder@zanshintraders.com with "Copyright notice" in the subject and include:
- your name and contact details, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them;
- the work you believe is infringed;
- where it appears on Zanshin (a link or a screenshot of the Inspiration item or quote);
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act; and
- your physical or electronic signature.
We remove or disable the item promptly, usually within 2 business days, and tell you when it's done. Linked items are removed from every user's Inspiration tab at once. Repeat infringers' accounts are closed. If your content was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice with the same details.
